General context
What is the Nassim Living Lab?
The Nassim Living Lab is a real inhabited building located in Marrakech built by the operator Al Omrane which is a Moroccan public group specialised in urban development and real estate promotion. This building is used as a platform for experimentation and open innovation, where users, researchers, companies and decision-makers collaborate to test concrete solutions (technological, behavioural, architectural, regulatory). It relies on :
- a real-time observation of consumption and comfort ;
- pilot renovations (insulation, ventilation, renewable energies, water management) ;
- the involvement of occupants in the processes ;
- a digital twin for simulation, modelling and monitoring.
